We dream, and because we dream, there is Gurilândia International School today. And it’s because of a dream that we are all here!
Gurilândia International School was founded in 1960, as a result of an idea and desire of our educator Vera, who put into practice all the experience she has acquired throughout the years in the classroom.
The years of its activity have continued, the school has grown and has become a benchmark in the educational arena. This has happened as a result of the commitment to world citizenship in the development of children capable of facing life’s challenges, always aiming at knowledge, wisdom, dignity, in an active, involved and competent way.
In this journey, Gurilândia – which is always open to new and concerned about the formation of global citizens without however, abandoning the fundamental principles and values of its essence – has become an international and bilingual school, certified worldwide by the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Love and hospitality are the hallmarks of our school. Here, the doors are always open to welcome Brazilian or foreign families. We accommodate children from Kindergarten (from year 1) to Elementary I and Middle school (Land School).
